24 MONTH WARRANTY (CONNECTGO & CONNECTPRO)
All products are guaranteed for 24 months from the date of purchase, however, the guarantee is void if the goods when returned show signs of misuse, neglect, damaged caused by accident or the goods have been altered or modified electrically. The correct transformer/power supply must be used with all of the products available from Festive Lights. If you are unsure about which power supply to use, please contact us so that we can advise upon this. Using an incorrect transformer or power supply will void your warranty. We regret that we cannot replace or provide a refund for any items damaged as a result of using the incorrect transformer or power supply. We have a no hassle returns service for any genuinely faulty or unwanted products; please see our returns page for more information. The 24 month warranty for ConnectPro items is valid only for purchases made since 08/08/2018 when this warranty was introduced. ConnectPro items purchased before this date are still subject to their original 12 month warranty.
COLOUR TEMPERATURE
The colour appearance of an LED bulb is a complex mixture of gases and materials which, together, define the colour the human eye sees. In fact, all LEDs are white in colour before a defined concentration of gas is infused to create a desired colour. With this technical process, the visual colour produced is measured on the light wavelength spectrum and is defined as a colour temperature. White and Warm White are the most difficult colours to create, and matching production from batch to batch and year to year is almost impossible to replicate exactly. This is a common concept in our industry, however we work extremely closely with our factories to keep the colour temperature consistent across all of our lighting ranges, although we cannot guarantee a 100% match all of the time. We would advise customers to be aware of this potential difference in colour temperature when incorporating different batches into the same project.
TAX CHARGES
For orders made from the UK or the European Union. All product prices shown include VAT at the 20% Rate.
ORDERS
Orders can be placed online or via fax for delivery in the UK. For orders to be delivered outside of the UK, it is advised to discuss your order by email before placing an order. All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at UK rates. It may be necessary to adjust the prices in the event of a change in VAT rates. Customers are entitled to a full refund if this is not acceptable. For customers ordering from VAT exempt regions please call +44(0) 1257 792111 for assistance. All orders that you place on festive-lights.com will be subject to acceptance in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. The confirmation stage of the checkout process sets out the details of your order. Following this, we will send you an order acknowledgment e-mail detailing the products you have ordered followed by your invoice. Please note that this e-mail is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from us. Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on dispatch to you of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or have cancelled it.
DISCOUNT CODES
Only one voucher code can be used per transaction and we regret that we cannot retrospectively apply a voucher code to your order.
Unless otherwise stated, discount codes will only apply to full-priced items and not to any items that are already subject to a discount.
If you place an order without correctly applying the promotional code, or if you receive a voucher code through a marketing email or a social media promotion after you have placed an order, we are not able to reimburse you, regardless of how recently the order was placed.
If you believe that you have a valid promotional code that is not working, please contact us so that we can investigate this.
We cannot accept any promotional codes after their stated expiry date.
Festive Lights Ltd reserves the right to cancel any order if they feel a discount or discount code has been misused in any way. Please note: discount vouchers cannot be used by trade customers or those with an existing discount arrangement.
DELIVERY
For delivery information regarding shipping costs, timescales, despatch and tracking please see our delivery information page. We strive to offer the best delivery service available by using three couriers with whom we have had a good working relationship and provide the best value for money. The two main couriers we use are DPD for next day/large parcels and Royal Mail for small/light weight parcels. For overseas deliveries we use FedEx and DPD. Overseas shipping costs are quoted during the checkout process but are subject to change when we obtain a quotation from the courier company. If the quote from the courier company is more than quoted in the checkout process we will need to take further payment to cover this before the order can be dispatched. In the unlikely event of your goods being delivered faulty or damaged, please see our simple returns policy. If your parcel from us has not arrived this must be reported within 10 days of the last estimated delivery date provided at the time the order was placed.
PRE ORDERS
If you purchase a product which is on pre order, the website will state an approximate date or number of days which we expect the item to be in stock. On placing the order we will take payment to secure the pre ordered products. All pre order dates given are approximates and cannot be guaranteed. As soon as the pre ordered product arrives in stock it will be dispatched as soon as possible. In the case that the product is not available we will issue a full refund.
PRICING, AVAILABILITY, PRODUCT IMAGES & DESCRIPTIONS
Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions, images and prices which appear on festive-lights.com are accurate, errors may occur from time to time. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund. All prices displayed on the site are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate.
PROMOTIONS
We regret that we cannot apply retrospective refunds to customers that ordered outside of any advertised promotional periods. Please note, due to limitations with our system, bundles are excluded from all promotions with the exception of certain discount vouchers, which may be used in addition to bundle savings. Unless otherwise stated, all promotional product discounts relate to the RRP of the product, regardless of any other pre-existing discounts. For any promotions whereby items are obtained at a discounted rate when purchasing multiple items, it is always the cheapest item that is subject to a discount. If an item ordered through one of these deals is subsequently returned, any promotion will be cancelled and refunds will be adjusted accordingly. If you purchase something on a buy 2, get the 3rd half price promotion, then decide you want to return one item, we would calculate what you should have paid had you only purchased the 2 items that you decided to keep, and make a refund accordingly.
Please note that due to limitations with our systems, where a product has several different variations (colours/styles/sizes) and these are subject to different levels of discount, only a single discount figure will be shown on the category page and product page banners. This discount will therefore not necessarily always accurately reflect the discount applied to all product variations. In some cases, there may also be particular variations that are not discounted at all.
BUY 2 GET 1 HALF PRICE: you buy 2 items at £10, and another at £5 which is subsequently discounted to £2.50. You pay £22.50. You then decide you want to return one of the £10 items. The price you would have paid is £15, so you would be refunded £7.50. For such promotions, you are always required to add all items - including the free/discounted item - to the basket, where the cheapest item will then be discounted.
BUY 2 GET 3RD FREE (342 offer): you would add all 3 items to your basket, and one would be discounted to zero in the checkout. We will only dispatch the number of items that go through the checkout. If one unwanted item is returned, no refund will be given; return two items, one will be refunded. To receive a full refund you must return all 3 items under the 342 offer within the cooling off period.
If a product is included in a 342 promotion, voucher codes will be ineligible against these items for the duration of the offer, regardless of whether you are purchasing within the 342 promotion.
Whilst stocks last, we have the right to amend or remove this offer at any time.
